Time and time again, small business owners come to me looking for help to grow their businesses.
They know they need to invest in SEO & Google ads, but they are afraid.
They are afraid of trusting another marketing agency.
And Rightfully so. Most agencies suck and are a scam.

How Agencies Take Advantage of SMB’s
How do you stop yourself from getting taken advantage of? Transparency.
You should be able to hold your agency accountable. What do I mean?
Most agencies will say, “We got you, bro. We will do your SEO. It will take 6 months, and we will check in then.”
But how do you know they are doing what they're supposed to?
They send you a vague basic contract to sign and lock you in the long term, and there is no transparency for you to hold them accountable.
Read closely, this is very important and will save you thousands of dollars and a lot of frustration.
Ensure that they outline specific deliverables from content creation to backlinks & citations that will be completed on a monthly basis. Make sure that it is written into the contract.
There should be a steady monthly cadence of meetings with them.
Why? For two reasons.
It is essential for your SEO agency to collaborate with you on strategy. Without collaboration, the results will never amount to what they could.
It gives you clear transparency into the work that is being done and if they are meeting the deliverables outlined in the contract agreement.
When you do this, you will find out that 95% of agencies do not know the bare basics of SEO.
